NOCTURNE ::: ALBUM :::
2020 Limited Edition

ABOUT THE NOCTURNE ALBUM:
The "Nocturne" album was a far greater challenge than the debut album, as I sought to make ambitious music videos
to accompany the singles.
Two of the music videos for songs from the Nocturne album achieved success in their own right-
"The Salt In My Tears" music video was selected to feature on Phil Mack's Country Television show.
And the music video for "Fuel" won BEST ORIGINAL SONG at Florence Film Awards.
I was due to receive the award and to perform the winning song live in Florence at the film awards when the pandemic hit.
Two of the music videos from the Nocturne album were extended into short films, that featured the songs they belonged to as cinematic cues throughout.
Both short films were well received at film festivals around the world. One of the short films, named "Josephine", featuring the musical themes from Nocturne's "Fuel" won BEST FANSTASY in Top Shorts film festival.
Despite the album, music videos and short films having received some great reviews and accolades, the release in 2020 was largely doomed to failure by the lockdowns.
The Nocturne album didn't do as well commercially as I had strived for, but it did solidify my presence as an audio-visual artist.
All of the visuals that accompany the music are created as part of the overall project. Written, filmed and edited in house, alongside the songwriting, production and performance.
I have always wanted to do what Dwight Yoakam has done- write, sing, play, produce and create and direct my own music videos. He remains a tremendous career influence- demonstrating that an artist can do it all if they're brave enough to try.
I was thrilled to have another of Nocturne's songs "The Universe Is For Sale" be nominated for SONG OF THE YEAR at the 2021 U.K. Country Music Awards.
I am very grateful for UK Country Radio.com's consideration and support.
I am delighted to be this weeks spotlight UK artist!
Which brings us to now. It has been a slow recovery out of the pandemic for artists everywhere
But- New music is finally on the way!
THE SALT IN MY TEARS ::: SINGLE ::: 2019

The music video for The Salt In My Tears was filmed in just an afternoon at an old dance hall, that has now been knocked down. My grandparents used to go dancing there, and I always loved its old world charm and 1900's features. I had a very tight budget, so I wanted to film a minimalistic "love story" on the boards of the old stage to accompany the singles release. I think we just about managed to pull it off!
A THOUSAND SHORES ::: ALBUM ::: 2015

ABOUT A THOUSAND SHORES ALBUM:
My first album "A Thousand Shores" is an eclectic mix of songs and stories earned along the way. Mostly about life, love found and lost, recovering a sense ot self in the aftermath of all things.
"Surely one of the finest female Country voices you'll ever hear" Phoenix FM
In truth, the songs that made it onto that album were the ones that came together quickly and easily and didn't fight back.
I didn't have much studio time, the album took 9 days all together. And there are no samples or programmed instruments on it. Everything you hear is real and played by a real person. Unedited, no auto tune.
These are things that are now becoming rare. And I dare say I may have to compromise on some things going forward.
But NEVER WIll I use auto tune. If I can't sing it live, don't record it.
Because I am more shy and careful in the studio than on stage, I much prefer to sing live, as I get to give it my everything, and share the musical experience with people. It is a powertul thing, and I love it.
Two songs off "A Thousand Shores" "Ashes Of A Man" and "Dashboard Jesus" were Semi finalists in the International Songwriting Competition.
Classic Rock Country, which was in publication at the time, included me on their "ONES TO WATCH" list.
The album received great reviews in Maverick Magazine:
"A thousand shores would be the perfect soundtrack for a road trip down the sun scorched highways of the American South"
SKY'S ON FIRE ::: SINGLE ::: 2014

My first single was inspired by the fiery skies of Ibiza. The song itself is about being with the wrong person in the most beautiful of places. He turns to me and says "..the sky's on fire." I couldn't agree more. I embrace the evening for all it holds, knowing that we are at the start of a long goodbye. A love once burning bright, now setting like the sun.
Sky's on fire was well received and had some great airplay. The music video was filmed on a very cheap camera, and has not stood the test of time, unfortunately. But I learned a lot on that project, and it paved the way to the rest of the album.
